Send flowers to someone in Barnard without being there yourself: ordering is online, with preparation and delivery handled locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear.

Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Barnard is 12:00 local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order.
For a delivery to a teacher at Barnard Academy, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to Locust Creek School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
When a funeral service is held at East Barnard Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. Flowers for a service at Silver Lake Chapel are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending to a guest of Twin Farms, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
Before sending to a workplace such as Barnard Town Hall, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
If flowers are going to South Barnard Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants and chocolates; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
