A flower order for York can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The online payment is made in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Gen. Wayne Headquarters is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Continental Treasury are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

The same-day ordering cutoff in York is 12:00, local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. For an address in Market District, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Red Roof Inn, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. Sending to The Yorktowne Hotel? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for King's Inn Hotel, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. You will find Red Roof Inn listed at North George Street 132; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Before sending flowers to Ferguson K-8, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. For a delivery to a teacher at York Academy, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Trinity United Church of Christ, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Westminster Presbyterian Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Mosaic City Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient works at York City Hall, ask about personal flower deliveries and identify the organisation and their department in the address.
When entering an address in Royal Square District, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Joe's Pizza Plaza, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants and chocolates; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
