Order from wherever you are for flowers arranged and delivered locally in Athlone. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as 1916 Centenery Commemoration are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by IRA memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

When the recipient is at St Vincent's Hospital, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers. The address for St Vincent's Hospital is given as Coosan Point Road; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
For a guest at Radisson Blu, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. Check that Shamrock Lodge Hotel can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them.
Before sending flowers to Coláiste Chiaráin, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. A delivery for Athlone Community College is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at The Marist College, Athlone? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
When a funeral service is held at Athlone Methodist Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Parish Church Of Saint Mary, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Queen of Peace Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before ordering for a guest at Athlone Springs Hotel, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
An order for a staff member at Enterprise Ireland should include their organisation and department, with acceptance of flower deliveries checked beforehand.
If flowers are going to Drum Middle Graveyard, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at 1810 Steakhouse, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number.
Add any required entry code before submitting the order.
