You do not need to be in Ottawa to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. Your message is reproduced without changes on the complimentary card included with the order. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Canadian Police Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as National Holocaust Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. When the destination is in Country Place, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for Saint-Vincent Hospital, using the hospital’s own address for the destination. Before sending to Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. A flower order for a recipient at The Ottawa Hospital - Riverside Campus needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance. When arranging flowers for Saint-Vincent Hospital, note its listed address, Cambridge Street North 60; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Hyatt Place Ottawa West, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. Check with Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa East before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. Before ordering for a guest at GLo Best Western Kanata Ottawa West, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. Hyatt Place Ottawa West is listed at Moodie Drive 300; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at Churchill Alternative School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Glashan Public School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Lisgar Collegiate Institute, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Ottawa City Hall, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
Address details for Sandy Hill should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
If the delivery address is First Memorial Funeral Services, confirm the exact meeting point and arrangements with the venue before ordering a tribute. Before sending a tribute to Pinecrest Cemetery, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at The Swan at Carp, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
When a funeral service is held at St. Peter and St. Paul's, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
