You’ll pick the city and day on the product
For a recipient in George Town, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. A free card message is included, with your wording kept exactly as you write it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in George Town, use the destination’s 14:00 local cutoff. Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. Add any required entry code before submitting the order.
Sending to The Pier Hotel? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. You will find The Pier Hotel listed at Elizabeth Street 5; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Sending flowers to someone at Port Dalrymple School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. Before sending flowers to South George Town Primary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Star of the Sea Catholic College, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A delivery timed for a meal at The Pier Hotel Restaurant needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, champagne and preserved roses, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
