You do not need to be in Tasmania to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. You pay online in your own currency. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Tasmanian Seafarers' Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Hobart War Memorial (Cenotaph) is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Order before 14:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Tasmania. Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. When the destination is in Gagebrook, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
Before arranging flowers for someone at North West Private Hospital, check acceptance with the hospital and ward, then provide the institution’s complete address. When the recipient is at The Hobart Clinic, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers. If you are sending flowers to someone at Wellington Centre, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address. North West Private Hospital is listed at Brickport Road 21; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Check with Launceston Central Apartment Hotel before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. For flowers addressed to a guest at DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. When addressing flowers to a guest at Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. Launceston Central Apartment Hotel has a listed address of Paterson Street 16; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
If the service takes place at St Mary's Cathedral, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Hobart Synagogue are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For flowers addressed to someone at Break O'Day Council, give the organisation and department and confirm that personal deliveries are accepted.
For a recipient whose address is in Mayfield, keep that place name in the address you enter.
For a tribute intended for Carr Villa Memorial Park, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Hog's Breath Cafe, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, champagne and preserved roses. Check availability for the product you choose.
A delivery for Claremont College is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
