You do not need to be in Costa Rica to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. You can complete payment online using your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Place a same-day order for Costa Rica by the local cutoff of 16:00. Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Any required building access code should accompany the order. If the recipient’s address is in Jardim Eminassai, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Hotel do viajante, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. For a guest at Ives Hotel, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
Sending flowers to someone at EE José Ferreira da Costa? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for Escola Municipal Francisco Martins Carrijo is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Escola Municipal Joaquim Faustino Rosa, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A flower order for someone staying at Hotel Beira Rio should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first.
When ordering for a recipient at IAGRO Local e Regional de Costa Rica, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
