A florist in Chengdu handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Chongde Pavillion are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Confucius is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Chengdu is 14:00 local time. Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. Add the building’s entry code to the delivery details when a code is needed. For an address in Wenjun, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
For a recipient at Genertec 363 Hospital, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address. Before sending to Chengdu Tenth People's Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. Use the hospital’s full address for Sichuan Province Forestry Centre Hospital, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. When arranging flowers for Genertec 363 Hospital, note its listed address, 倒桑树街 108; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
A delivery for Jintang Campus of Chengdu No.7 Middle School Yucai School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Jintang Campus of Primary School Attached to Chengdu Normal School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Jintang Foreign Language Experimental School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
Flowers for a service at Wuhou Temple are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Chengdu Huangcheng Mosque, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Chuanwang Palace, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending to a guest of InterContinental Century City Chengdu, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
For a recipient at Jintang County People's Government, include the organisation’s name and any floor or department, and check whether personal deliveries are accepted.
Where the delivery address includes Caida, retain the locality when filling in the order.
For a table booked at Din Tai Fung, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
Check that InterContinental Chengdu Global Center can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them.
A flower order for someone staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first.
