Send flowers to someone in Lijiang without being there yourself: ordering is online, with preparation and delivery handled locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Mao Zedong Statue are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Add the building’s entry code to the delivery details when a code is needed. Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Dayan.
If you are sending to a guest of Butterfly Valley Boutique Hotel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. If the recipient is staying at Huiduo Hotel, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
Before sending flowers to Lijiang No.1 High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
If the service takes place at Baimalongtan Temple, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Hongfa Temple, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Mosque, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Hotel Indigo, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order.
Address flowers for someone at Gucheng District People's Procuratorate with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Huangshan.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Zhazha Rice Noodles (Gucheng Branch), ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
