Fengcai Lou is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Former Site of Shaozhou Normal School in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Sending Flowers to Schools in Shaoguan

Sending flowers to someone at Fengcai Experimental School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for Shaoguan Zhenjiang District Special Education School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Fengwan Central Primary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.

When a funeral service is held at Shaozhou Confucian Temple, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Dongdi Catholic Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
