You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Xujiahui Jiedao. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. People locate the town by Former site of the liaison point between the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as May Thirtieth Movement Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in Xujiahui Jiedao, use the destination’s 14:00 local cutoff. Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. For a recipient whose address is in Xintiandi, keep that place name in the address you enter.
When the recipient is at Shanghai Chest Hospital, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers. For a patient at Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination. Use the hospital’s full address for Eye and ENT Hospital of Fudan University, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. Shanghai Chest Hospital has a listed address of 淮海西路 241号; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Check that Mercure can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. If you are sending to a guest of Park Hotel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
For a service at Shanghai Confucian Temple, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at City God Temple of Shanghai, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Xujiahui Saint Ignatius Catholic Cathedral, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order.
Before placing a workplace order for Shanghai Municipal People's Government, ask whether personal deliveries are accepted and give the organisation and recipient’s department.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at CurryLounge, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
For a delivery to a teacher at Xuhui High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
Sending flowers to someone at Shanghai No. 3 Girls' High School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
