You do not need to be in Barcelona to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as En memoria del sacerdote Bernardo Torres are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Order before 15:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Barcelona. For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Any required building access code should accompany the order. For a recipient whose address is in El Totumo, keep that place name in the address you enter.
For a patient at Centro de Salud El Caimo, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Colegio Nuestra Señora de Fátima Armenia, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Before sending flowers to Escuela Bellavista, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
For a service at Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Carmen, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Haciënda Bambusa, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
A flower order for a recipient at Centro de Salud Barcelona needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance.
When the destination is in Europeo, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Super Forcha, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, cakes and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
