Order before 18:00 local time and the flowers can reach them the same day, with deliveries running Monday to Saturday. A new job, an exam passed, a graduation that took four years to earn — flower delivery in Dominica is quick enough to mark the win on the day it happens, not the following weekend when everyone has moved on. Checkout is in your own currency, paid securely online, so the whole thing takes a few minutes even if you are eight hours and an ocean away.
Choose an arrangement now, add the address, and a florist on the island can have it delivered before the evening is out.

Not every order is for today. Choose any future date at checkout — the anniversary you have had in your calendar since January, the birthday you refuse to be late for again — and the order waits for it. Bouquets follow the freshest stems of the day, so an unavailable flower is replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style. And if nobody is home when the florist arrives, they will typically call the recipient or arrange a redelivery.
There is no postcode system to lean on. Give the complete address: the P.O. Box, then the village and parish, plus a phone number for the recipient. That phone number is not a formality — florists use it to confirm availability and the exact address before they set out, and on an island of small settlements it is often what turns a rough location into a doorstep. If the delivery is going to an apartment, add the door code at checkout too.
Arrangements here run lush and tropical, built around bold exotic blooms and foliage instead of the pale, delicate look of an imported bouquet. Anthurium, heliconia, ginger lily and bird of paradise carry most of them, with roses and orchids alongside, and ti leaves, banana leaf, palm fronds and croton doing the shaping. Bouquets are hand-tied and wrapped in cellophane or tropical leaf, sometimes set in a woven basket. Over 100 arrangements are ready to send, and Gift Baskets, Plants and Chocolates can go on the same order.
Bright, exotic blooms tend to be the favoured gift — heliconia and anthurium read as generous here in a way that pale imported flowers do not. They are also grown close by: cut flowers come out of the Roseau Valley, the Layou Valley and the Kalinago Territory, and the tropical climate lets heliconia, anthurium and ginger lily be harvested year-round, with imported roses and carnations topping up supply for the big gifting weeks. For funerals and wakes, the conventional choice is white — lilies, white roses, and wreaths.
Mother's Day, the second Sunday of May, and Valentine's Day on February 14 are the exception to the usual schedule — florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead. All Souls' Day on November 2 fills the cemeteries, with flowers carried to graves in remembrance. Christmas on December 25 brings poinsettias and festive arrangements into homes and churches, and Independence Day on November 3 puts the national colours into floral displays. An anniversary you want to mark properly deserves the same forward planning: set the date early and stop thinking about it.
Someone mid-journey is almost impossible to reach with a delivery. An airport arrivals hall, a cruise terminal with a ship due out at five — neither will hold a bouquet for a passenger who is about to move on. Send to their hotel, their office or their home address instead, timed for after they arrive, so the flowers are standing there when they finally put their bag down.
Sending from another country changes nothing at your end: you order online, and the arrangement is made and delivered locally. Most orders here are placed by people who are somewhere else entirely, so nothing in the process assumes you are nearby. A card message comes with every order at no extra cost, printed word for word — write it at checkout, in your own phrasing, and it arrives with the flowers as the part that gets kept.
Yes — order before 18:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.
Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward, so check before ordering; otherwise the delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own town and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.

Yes. Include the resident's full name and, where possible, the floor or unit. It is worth checking the residence accepts flower deliveries; reception will usually pass them on.
You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The date you select at checkout is honoured.
Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice. Order with that much time in hand and the florist can prepare the piece properly.
