You do not need to be in Portoviejo to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by Banderas in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Cabza de león are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Planning a same-day delivery in Portoviejo? The ordering deadline is 16:00 local time. The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. Any required building access code should accompany the order. Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Los Rosales.
Check with the ward at Verdi Cevallos Balda Hospital before ordering flowers, and use the hospital’s own address for the delivery. When the recipient is at Centro de Atención Ambulatoria Portoviejo (IESS), the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers. For a recipient at CERI 3, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address. The address for Verdi Cevallos Balda Hospital is given as Calle 12 de Marzo y Rocafuerte; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Hostal Boutique Platanal, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. A flower order for someone staying at Dos Hermanos should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. Check with Hotel Principado before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. You will find Hostal Boutique Platanal listed at Calle Nueva; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Flowers for a service at Iglesia Católica Beato Pío IX | Portoviejo are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Iglesia Católica Sagrado Corazón de Jesús | Portoviejo, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Iglesia Católica Santísima Trinidad de El Florón, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When ordering for a recipient at Complejo Judicial de Portoviejo, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
When the destination is in Urbanización Porto Novo, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at El patio de Luga, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Check availability for the product you choose.
For a delivery to a teacher at Unidad Educativa Paulo Emilio Macías Sabando, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
Before sending flowers to Escuela Fe y Alegria (Las Cumbres), name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Escuela Fiscal N°4 - 12 de Marzo, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
