You can send flowers to someone in Forcalquier even when you are in another country, with the arrangement prepared and delivered locally for your recipient. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Monument aux morts are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Forcalquier is 16:00 local time. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. For a building with coded access, supply the entry code at checkout.
A flower order for someone staying at Le Grand Hôtel should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first.
A delivery for Collège Henri Laugier is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at École Léon Espariat, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to École primaire privée Jeanne d'Arc, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
When a funeral service is held at Concathédrale Notre-Dame-du-Bourguet, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Provence, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Notre Dame des Fougères are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending to a guest of Bastide Saint-Georges, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
Before placing a workplace order for Mairie de Forcalquier, ask whether personal deliveries are accepted and give the organisation and recipient’s department.
For a table booked at Le Bel Écrin, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
