You do not need to be in Hettange-Grande to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by Berthe Lévy in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Blanche Lévy are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. For a recipient whose address is in Cité d'Hettange, keep that place name in the address you enter.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Collège Jean-Marie Pelt, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. For a delivery to a teacher at École Primaire Carole Gaessler, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Sending flowers to someone at École maternelle Louis Pasteur? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If the service takes place at Église Saint-Étienne, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Mairie de Hettange-Grande, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Garibaldi, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
