You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Arrange a flower delivery in Les Houches online, even when you are ordering from another country. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. You can complete payment online using your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Statue du Christ-Roi are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Pierre & Marie-Jo Trappier is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Place a same-day order for Les Houches by the local cutoff of 16:00. Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. If the destination is in Les Chavants, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Hôtel Chris-Tal, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. Before ordering for a guest at RockyPop, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. Sending to Le Saint-Antoine? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. You will find Hôtel Chris-Tal listed at Avenue des Alpages 242; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Before sending flowers to Groupe scolaire, École des Houches, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at École primaire privée Les Glaciers, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at École primaire privée Poussières d'Étoiles? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If the service takes place at Chapelle de Notre-Dame du Lac, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Chapelle de Vaudagne, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. For a service at Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Address flowers for someone at Mairie des Houches with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at La Braise, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
