You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Send flowers to Dortmund from another country; the arrangement is made and delivered locally. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Payment is taken online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Mahnmal für die Alte Synagoge is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Dortmund is 15:00. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. Address details for Buchholz should include the locality, street, number and postcode. For a delivery address in Germany, the postcode has five digits and comes before the town name; copy both from the recipient’s address and keep the street and building number with the delivery details. Within Dortmund, localities include Hörde, Aplerbeck, Brackel and Hombruch; when the recipient uses one of these locality names, retain it as part of the destination rather than reducing their address to the main city name alone.
Use the hospital’s full address for St.-Johannes-Hospital, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. A flower order for a recipient at Wilfried-Rasch-Klinik needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance.
If you cannot visit a guest at NH Dortmund, check flower acceptance with the hotel and use the reservation name when ordering. Sending to Boutique 102 Dortmund City? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. If the recipient is staying at Dorint Hotel Dortmund An den Westfalenhallen, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. NH Dortmund has a listed address of Königswall 1; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at Mallinckrodt-Gymnasium, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at Robert-Bosch-Berufskolleg, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for Rudolf-Steiner-Schule is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for LWL-Klinik Dortmund, using the hospital’s own address for the destination.
Address flowers for someone at Amtsgericht Dortmund with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
When the destination is in Clarenberg, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
Before ordering a tribute for delivery to Bestattungen Weber, ask the venue to confirm the address and handover arrangements. A tribute addressed to Hauptfriedhof should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
