Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Duisburg. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. Your order includes a card at no extra cost, carrying your message without edits. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Ruhrorter Tönnekesdrieter is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Order before 15:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Duisburg. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. Address details for Friemersheim should include the locality, street, number and postcode. When writing a German address, the postcode has five digits and comes before the town name; copy both from the recipient’s address and keep the street and building number with the delivery details. Among the localities of Duisburg are Walsum, Hamborn, Meiderich and Beeck; when the recipient uses one of these locality names, retain it as part of the destination rather than reducing their address to the main city name alone.
Use the hospital’s full address for Bertha-Krankenhaus, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. If you are sending flowers to someone at Johanniter Krankenhaus Rheinhausen, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address. Maiblumenstraße 5 is the listed address of Bertha-Krankenhaus; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Check with IntercityHotel Duisburg before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. Check that Wyndham Duisburger Hof Hotel can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. When addressing flowers to a guest at Ferrotel Duisburg, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. The listed address for IntercityHotel Duisburg is Mercatorstraße 57; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at Green-Gesamtschule Städtische Gesamtschule, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at Schulschiff RHEIN, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Before sending flowers to Steinbart-Gymnasium, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
An order for a staff member at Amtsgericht Duisburg (Nebenstelle) should include their organisation and department, with acceptance of flower deliveries checked beforehand.
Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Hochheide.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with Bestattungshaus Jung before using it as the address for a funeral tribute. For a tribute intended for Kleintierfriedhof, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
