Same Day Delivery
A florist in Heidelberg handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Isak Engelberg are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Kolonialstein in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Heidelberg is 15:00 local time. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. If the recipient’s address is in Bahnstadt, keep that locality in the full delivery address. When checking a German destination address, the postcode has five digits and comes before the town name; copy both from the recipient’s address and keep the street and building number with the delivery details. Heidelberg includes localities such as Handschuhsheim, Kirchheim, Neuenheim and Rohrbach; when the recipient uses one of these locality names, retain it as part of the destination rather than reducing their address to the main city name alone.
A flower order for a recipient at Klinik Sankt Elisabeth needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance. For a patient at Thoraxklinik Heidelberg, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination. For delivery details relating to Klinik Sankt Elisabeth, its listed address is Furtwänglerstraße 5-7; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Europäischer Hof, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. When addressing flowers to a guest at Hilton Heidelberg, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. Before ordering for a guest at Meininger Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. Europäischer Hof is listed at Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 1; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at Elisabeth von Thadden-Schule, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Freie Waldorfschule Heidelberg is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at Bunsen-Gymnasium? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Amtsgericht Heidelberg, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
Address details for Neuenheimer Feld should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Before ordering a tribute for delivery to Seppich, ask the venue to confirm the address and handover arrangements. Before sending a tribute to Alter Friedhof Schlierbach, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Zum Roten Ochsen, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
