For delivery on the same day in Spree-Neisse, the order needs to be placed before 15:00 local time. Sending Flowers to Schools in Spree-Neisse

For a delivery to a teacher at Bewegte Grundschule, Oberschule am Weinberg, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Spreeschule is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Niedersorbisches Gymnasium Cottbus, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.

Occasions and Sympathy Flowers in Spree-Neisse

In Germany, for Valentine's Day (Valentinstag), the calendar date is 14 February, with red roses and mixed bouquets associated with the occasion. For those marking Mother's Day (Muttertag), the date is the second Sunday of May, with flowers among the gifts associated with the occasion. Christmas (Weihnachten) has its place in the calendar on 24 and 25 December, with table arrangements, amaryllis and poinsettias associated with the occasion. Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag) falls on the last Sunday before Advent, with flowers used to mark remembrance at graves. In the context of German customs, red roses can carry a romantic meaning; when choosing flowers for a friend, colleague or host, consider the message you want the gift to convey and use the personal card to make the occasion clear.

Flowers for a service at Martinskirche are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Synagoge, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Across Germany, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. As a guide to the choice of flowers, chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. When considering an arrangement, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
