For delivery on the same day in Tessin b. Boizenburg, the order needs to be placed before 15:00 local time. Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. For a German address, the postcode has five digits and comes before the town name; copy both from the recipient’s address and keep the street and building number with the delivery details.
In the German cultural context, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. For this kind of gift, chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. When considering an arrangement, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
In Germany, Valentine's Day (Valentinstag) falls on 14 February, with red roses and mixed bouquets associated with the occasion. For Mother's Day (Muttertag), the calendar date is the second Sunday of May, with flowers among the gifts associated with the occasion. Christmas (Weihnachten) comes on 24 and 25 December, with table arrangements, amaryllis and poinsettias associated with the occasion. The celebration of Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag) falls on the last Sunday before Advent, with flowers used to mark remembrance at graves. Among German customs, red roses can carry a romantic meaning; when choosing flowers for a friend, colleague or host, consider the message you want the gift to convey and use the personal card to make the occasion clear.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient is staying at Gasthaus Ahrens, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
