Send flowers to someone in San Jose without being there yourself: ordering is online, with preparation and delivery handled locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. People locate the town by Petroglifo in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

The same-day ordering cutoff in San Jose is 14:00, local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. For an address in Vista Al Lago, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
Check with Hotel Ribiera Del Lago before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. When addressing flowers to a guest at Gucumatz Lakeside Inn, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Mundo Maya Spanish School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Before sending flowers to Escuela, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. For a delivery to a teacher at Escuela de Párvulos, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
If the service takes place at Iglesia Católica, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A flower order for someone staying at Hotel Gringo Perdido should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first.
Address flowers for someone at Autoridad para el Manejo y Desarrollo Sostenible de la Cuenca del Lago Petén Itzá AMPI with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Restaurante Playa Azul, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
