You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Austurland. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Expatriates to Canada is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Gideon are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Place a same-day order for Austurland by the local cutoff of 15:00. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. An address in Holt should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Check with the ward at Heilsugæslan before ordering flowers, and use the hospital’s own address for the delivery. The street address listed for Heilsugæslan is Búðareyri 8; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Check that Hótel Áldan can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. Before ordering for a guest at Guesthouse Ola, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
Flowers for a service at Beruneskirkja are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Hjaltastaðakirkja, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Kirkjubæjarkirkja, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Hótel Guesthouse Svartiskógur, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
Before placing a workplace order for Vinnumálastofnun, ask whether personal deliveries are accepted and give the organisation and recipient’s department.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Beituskúrinn, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants and chocolates; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Breiðdals- og Stöðvafjarðarskóli, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
