Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in Hunaþing vestra, use the destination’s 15:00 local cutoff. Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. Add any required entry code before submitting the order.
If the recipient is staying at Welcome Hotel Hvammstangi, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. Welcome Hotel Hvammstangi has a listed address of Norðurbraut 1; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a service at Kirkjuhvammskirkja, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For flowers addressed to someone at Vegagerðin, give the organisation and department and confirm that personal deliveries are accepted.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Sjávarborg, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Check availability for the product you choose.
