You do not need to be in Kolkata to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. You can complete payment online using your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Shaheed Minar are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Job Charnock’s Mausoleum in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day flower delivery in Kolkata has an ordering deadline of 14:00, measured in local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one. Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Shyam Bazar.
When the recipient is at Medica Superspecialty Hospital, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers. For a patient at Nightingale Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination.
A flower order for someone staying at Roland Hotel should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. For a guest at Hotel Gallery 67, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. If the recipient is staying at Taj Bengal, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. The address for Roland Hotel is given as Rowland Row 28A Rowland Rd, near Landsdown Crossing Ballygunge,; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Jadavpur Vidyapith is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Cossipore, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. For a delivery to a teacher at Sakhawat Memorial Govt. Girls' High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Use the hospital’s full address for Belle Vue Clinic, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered.
Check whether Bankshall Court, Kolkata accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
For someone in Brahmapur, use that locality name within the delivery address.
A tribute addressed to Lower Circular Road Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Indian Coffee House needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
Flowers for a service at Saint John's Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
