You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Carlow. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. People locate the town by Eddie Power in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. Add any required entry code before submitting the order.
If the recipient is staying at Lord Bagenal, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. For flowers addressed to a guest at Ballykealey Manor, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. Check with Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa & Country Club before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. You will find Lord Bagenal listed at Carlow Road; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Sending flowers to someone at Borris Vocational School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. Before sending flowers to St. Leo's College, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
For a service at Cathedral Church of St. Laserian, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. If the service takes place at Saint Fiaac's, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Saint John's, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before arranging flowers for someone at Carlow District Hospital, check acceptance with the hospital and ward, then provide the institution’s complete address.
An order addressed to Carlow County Buildings should identify the organisation and recipient’s department; ask about personal deliveries first.
If the delivery address is S. Somers & Sons, confirm the exact meeting point and arrangements with the venue before ordering a tribute. If flowers are going to Ballyellin Graveyard, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
A delivery timed for a meal at Step House needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
