A florist in Minamisanriku handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Payment is taken online in your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Our Heartfelt Thanks to Taiwan are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Minamisanriku is 12:00 local time. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. For a recipient whose address is in Iriya, keep that place name in the address you enter.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Miyagi Prefecture MinamiSanriku High School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Shizugawa Elementary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for Shizugawa Junior High School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
For a service at Kinshūji, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Ryūmonin, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Arasawa Jinja, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you cannot visit a guest at Iriyado, check flower acceptance with the hotel and use the reservation name when ordering.
Ask whether flowers are accepted by the recipient’s ward at Minamisanriku Hospital, and address the order to the hospital itself.
Check whether Minamisanriku Town Hall accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
Address details for Shizugawa should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Benkei zushi, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
