People locate the town by China-Maldives Friendship Monument in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Hulhumale' Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Male is 14:00 local time.

A flower order for a recipient at Senahiya Military Hospital needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance. For a patient at Hulhumalé Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination. Before sending to Dharumavantha Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. The street address listed for Senahiya Military Hospital is Moonlight Hingun, Malé, Maldives; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
For a guest at Maakanaa Lodge, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. The location listed for Maakanaa Lodge is Nirolhu Magu 10026; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Majeediyya School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Villa International High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
Flowers for a service at Bihuroazu Kamanaa Mosque are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at King Salman Mosque, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at Malé Friday Mosque, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For someone working at JICA Maldives Office, confirm that flowers can be accepted and supply the organisation’s name and the relevant department.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Pilawoos Hulhumalé, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
