Fernando Montes de Oca is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Juan Escutia are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

A delivery for Escuela Secundaria Técnica No 21 is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Instituto de Energias Renovables, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
