For delivery on the same day in Raalte, the order needs to be placed before 14:00 local time. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. Add the building’s entry code to the delivery details when a code is needed.
Check that Hotel-restaurant De Zwaan can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. The street address listed for Hotel-restaurant De Zwaan is Kerkstraat 2; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at KBS De Korenbloem, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Obs De Vogelaar? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at basisschool De Linderte, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
If the service takes place at Heilige Kruisverheffing, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Pauluskerk, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Plaskerk, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a recipient at Gemeentehuis Raalte, include the organisation’s name and any floor or department, and check whether personal deliveries are accepted.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Hotel Inn Salland, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
