A flower order for Ashburton can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. For payment, checkout uses your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Ashburton South African War memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Ashburton War Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. For a recipient whose address is in Allenton, keep that place name in the address you enter.
A delivery for Ashburton College is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
For a service at Ashburton Baptist Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Ashburton New Life Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Ashburton Seventh-Day Adventist Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a recipient at Ashburton Hospital, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address.
For a recipient at Ashburton Courthouse, include the organisation’s name and any floor or department, and check whether personal deliveries are accepted.
Where the delivery address includes Fairton, retain the locality when filling in the order.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at St Pierre's Sushi, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
