For a recipient in Clouston Park, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Cemetary Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Upper Hutt War Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. For someone in Kingsley Heights, use that locality name within the delivery address.
Before sending flowers to Fergusson Intermediate School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at Heretaunga College? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
When a funeral service is held at Chapel, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. Flowers for a service at Lane Park Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Saint Peter Chanel Catholic Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Brentwood Manor, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
For someone working at Upper Hutt City Council, confirm that flowers can be accepted and supply the organisation’s name and the relevant department.
If the recipient’s address is in Emerald Hill, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
A tribute addressed to Akatarawa Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Pizza Hut, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
