You’ll pick the city and day on the product
You can order flowers for Bairro das Matosas online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Casa do Calvário are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Monumento ao Poeta Fausto José is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The order must be placed before 18:00 local time for same-day flowers in Bairro das Matosas. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Add any required entry code before submitting the order. Where the delivery address includes Bairro das Forcas, retain the locality when filling in the order.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Hotel Folgosa Douro, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. When addressing flowers to a guest at Quinta da Barroca, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
For a delivery to a teacher at Escola primária, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
When a funeral service is held at Capela de São Pedro de Balsemão, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Igreja Matriz de Armamar, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending to a guest of Quinta São José do Barrilário - Douro Wine Hotel & Spa, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
Address flowers for someone at Junta de Freguesia de Queimadela with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
If the destination is in Bairro do Côto, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Rui Paula Restaurante Doc needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
