You can send flowers to someone in Meio even when you are in another country, with the arrangement prepared and delivered locally for your recipient. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Bateria de Costa are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day orders for Meio close at 18:00 local time. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. If the destination is in Colmeal de Cima, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Pestana CR7, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Pestana Promenade Ocean Resort, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Colégio Missionário Sagrado Coração, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for HappyCode is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to International Sharing School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
When a funeral service is held at Capela do Corpo Santo, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. Flowers for a service at Capela de Nossa Senhora das Neves are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Igreja de São Martinho, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before ordering for a guest at Savoy Palace, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
Use the hospital’s full address for Casa de Saúde Câmara Pestana, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered.
An order addressed to Serviço Regional de Proteção Civil da Madeira should identify the organisation and recipient’s department; ask about personal deliveries first.
For a recipient whose address is in Curral Velho, keep that place name in the address you enter.
Before sending a tribute to Cemitério Britânico, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Abrigo do Poiso, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
