You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Ribeira das Avelas. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by Aos Mortos da Grande Guerra in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Avião are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The order must be placed before 18:00 local time for same-day flowers in Ribeira das Avelas. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Cocanha.
If the recipient is staying at Hotel Rural Quinta de Samaiões, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. Before ordering for a guest at Quinta de Santa Isabel, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. The listed address for Hotel Rural Quinta de Samaiões is Rua Doutor Francisco de Barros Teixeira; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at Escola Primária e Creche de Faiões, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Sending flowers to someone at Arte no Jardim? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Capela da Granjinha, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. For a service at Igreja de São João de Deus, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Ask about personal flower deliveries at Comissões de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens, then identify the organisation and recipient’s department on the order.
For a recipient whose address is in Seixal, keep that place name in the address you enter.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at ‘83 gastrobar, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
The listed gift categories include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
