Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Pick your delivery date at checkout and the order is held for it. The calendar offers the days florists can work, so a date set three weeks out is as firm as one set for tomorrow, and choosing early is the surest way through a busy week in February or May. If today's cutoff has already gone, take the next date that suits: arrangements are built on the morning they go out, so a later date takes nothing away from what arrives.
Addresses here use a standard US five-digit ZIP code — 00901 for San Juan, for instance — and sometimes the extended ZIP+4. Put the street and number first, then the town and that code. Include the recipient's local phone number as well: florists use it to confirm availability and the exact address, which is what keeps a delivery from circling a road of similar gates. Apartment and condominium deliveries often need a door code, so add it at checkout with everything else.
When words over the phone are not landing, flowers at the door restart the conversation, and sometimes they are better sent with something to open. Gift baskets, plants and chocolates go to the same address on the same date, on their own or beside a bouquet. Over 100 arrangements stand behind the choice, from a few stems for a bedside to something built to take up a table. Choose the one that fits what you are trying to say, and add the rest to the same order.
The tropical climate allows near year-round local growing of anthuriums and heliconias, mostly around Aibonito and Barranquitas, while much of the retail stock — roses, carnations, lilies — is imported from the US mainland, Colombia and Ecuador through San Juan importers supplied by the Miami flower trade. Hurricane season, June to November, can disrupt that supply. Local arrangements lean tropical, built around bold-coloured exotic blooms and broad foliage, with ti and monstera leaves, ferns or palm fronds behind them, hand-tied and wrapped in cellophane or paper. For a funeral, white lilies and roses are the conventional choice and wreaths, coronas, are the traditional tribute; formal pieces need 24-48 hours' notice.
Mother's Day (Día de las Madres), the second Sunday of May, is the top flower-gifting occasion of the year, and Valentine's Day (Día de los Enamorados), February 14, is close behind it for roses and bouquets. Both are the exception to the usual schedule — florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead for either. A quinceañera, the fifteenth-birthday celebration, often calls for a bouquet and corsages for the honoree. At Christmas (Navidad), December 25, with festivities running on through Epiphany, poinsettias and holiday arrangements do the gifting and the decorating alike.
Someone mid-journey — at an airport, railway station or cruise terminal — is almost impossible to reach with a delivery. Send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive, so there is a fixed place to go and somebody there to take them in. If the recipient isn't home, the florist typically calls them or arranges redelivery. Arrangements are made with what's freshest, too, so if a flower isn't available the florist substitutes one of equal or greater value in a matching style.
You order and pay securely online in your own currency, which is one fewer thing to work out before you get to the part that matters. A card message comes with every order at no extra cost, printed word for word, so what they read is your sentence and not a tidied version of it. Write it before you reach the payment step, while you still know what you want it to say.
Yes — order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.
You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The delivery date you select at checkout is honoured.
Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward — check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.

Yes — include the company name and, if you know it, the floor or department, and the delivery goes to reception. Workplace deliveries should arrive within office hours, so choose a day the recipient is in.
Yes. Include the resident's full name and, where possible, the floor or unit. It is worth checking the residence accepts flower deliveries; reception will usually pass them on.
