Send flowers to someone in Bovec without being there yourself: ordering is online, with preparation and delivery handled locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Spomenik dr. Juliusu Kugyju is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Bovec World War I Military Cemetery are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The same-day ordering cutoff in Bovec is 14:00, local time. Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. For a recipient whose address is in Gornja Žaga, keep that place name in the address you enter.
Check with Hotel Alp before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. If you are sending to a guest of Hotel Mangart, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. Check that Dobra vila can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. For an order addressed to Hotel Alp, the listed location is Trg golobarskih žrtev 48; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Osnovna šola Bovec is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
If the service takes place at Cerkev svetega Štefana, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Cerkev Marije Device Lavretanske are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Cerkev Svete Device Marije v polju, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Občina Bovec, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
If the destination is in Kaninska Vas, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
If flowers are going to Bovec World War I Military Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Gostilna Vančar, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
