You do not need to be in Gradez to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. You can complete payment online using your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Grobišče padlih borcev NOB are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Smrečje in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day orders for Gradez close at 14:00 local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Any required building access code should accompany the order.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Podružnična šola Turjak, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
For a service at Cerkev Marijinega vnebovzetja, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Cerkev svetega Kancijana are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Kraljica miru, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Pizzeria Adam, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
