You do not need to be in Polhov Gradec to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Blagajev spomenik is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Paul John Sifler (1911-2001) in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Flowers for a service at Cerkev sv. Mohorja in Fortunata are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Sv. Peter, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. If the service takes place at Sveta Uršula, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Gostilna pri Pratkarju, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
