Same Day Delivery
Order before 14:00 local time and the flowers can reach them the same day, put together by a florist working from the address you give. It is their birthday and you cannot be there, which is precisely what sending flowers to the Solomon Islands is for: a bouquet that arrives on the day, with your words on the card. Pay in the currency you hold, the order placed and settled online, and write a card message at checkout that travels with the flowers, free and exactly as you typed it.
The day is still theirs to enjoy and yours to mark: choose an arrangement, set the delivery date at checkout, and a local florist carries it the rest of the way.

We deliver Monday to Saturday, which gives you six days to aim at and one date to fix at checkout. Bouquets follow the freshest stems of the day, so an unavailable flower is replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style, and the scale and colouring you chose are what reaches the door. Ordering from another country takes a few minutes online, and a local florist handles the delivery from there, so nothing has to cross a border on your behalf. Pick a day the recipient is likely to be at the address you have given.
There is no postcode system here — addresses are typically a PO Box in the relevant town, for example PO Box 123, Honiara. Write the town as well as the box, and the florist starts from a real place. Include the recipient's local phone number, because florists use it to confirm availability and the exact address before they set off. Apartment deliveries often need a door code — add it at checkout, at no extra cost, and the delivery is not left at the entrance.
There are over 100 arrangements and gifts to choose from, so the bouquet is a starting point and not the end of it. Gift baskets, potted plants and chocolates can travel with cut flowers or stand in for them when something that keeps suits the moment better. A basket suits a household, a potted plant stays on a windowsill long after cut stems are done, and chocolates suit the person who already has flowers in the room. The morning after a first date is one of those moments, when a small, well-judged delivery says what a message would not.
Frangipani, hibiscus, ginger lily, heliconia, orchids and ylang-ylang are the flowers you are most likely to see, with hibiscus, frangipani, heliconia, torch ginger and orchids grown locally in the Guadalcanal highlands and around Honiara, and trade passing through Honiara Central Market. The equatorial climate means they grow and are available through the year, with no distinct off-season. Arrangements tend to be loose and tropical, built around large, brightly coloured blooms and foliage such as banana leaf, croton, ti leaf and palm fronds. Flowers here are often woven into garlands (leis) or worn in the hair rather than wrapped as western-style bouquets, and frangipani tucked behind the ear is a common sight at celebrations and church events.
Mother's Day, the second Sunday of May, is the exception to the usual schedule — florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead for it, and keep the same margin around Valentine's Day. Flowers and garlands go to mothers on the day. At Christmas on December 25 and again at Easter, from Good Friday through Easter Monday, churches and homes are decorated with local tropical flowers, so a delivery timed for the week before often lands better than one on the day itself.
Someone mid-journey — at an airport, railway station or cruise terminal — is almost impossible to reach with a delivery. Send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive. If the recipient isn't home when the florist calls round, they will usually ring them or arrange a redelivery. Garlands of local flowers are given as a welcome or an honour at ceremonies and to visiting guests, which is worth knowing if the person you are sending to has just arrived somewhere new and you want the gesture to read the way it is meant.
Yes — order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.
Yes. You can pick any future delivery date at checkout, which is the safest option around busy periods, and the calendar only offers dates that are available.
You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The delivery date you select at checkout is honoured.
Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward — check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.
Yes. Hotel receptions ask for the reservation name and room number, so give the guest's full name and, if you can, their arrival date or booking reference.
Yes — include the company name and, if you know it, the floor or department, and the delivery goes to reception. Workplace deliveries should arrive within office hours.
Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice. Frangipani and hibiscus are commonly used in wreaths and placed on graves here.
