You do not need to be in Christiana to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The order must be placed before 14:00 local time for same-day flowers in Christiana. For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. An address in Geluksoord should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
For a delivery to a teacher at Christiana Combined School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at Christiana School for the Blind, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for Geluksoord Primary School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
For a service at AGS Kerk, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at AP Kerk Christiana, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Anglican Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Christiana All Seasons Hotel & Conference Centre, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
Before sending to a workplace such as SASSA Office, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
When the destination is in Utlwanang, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Chill & Grill, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
