Send your flower order for Akuressa online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. You can complete payment online using your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear.
For delivery on the same day in Akuressa, the order needs to be placed before 18:00 local time. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. If the recipient’s address is in Kokmaduwa Interchange, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
Before sending flowers to Akuressse Maha Vidyalaya Playground, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at MR/ Godapitiya National School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at MR/SADATH MAHA VIDYALAYA, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
When a funeral service is held at Dewalaya, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at PORWAI JUMMAH MOSQUE, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Sri Gangaramaya are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For an address in Telijjawila, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
