You do not need to be in Kadugannawa to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. You pay online in your own currency. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by captain Dowsan tower in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. Where the delivery address includes Haloluwa, retain the locality when filling in the order.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Gadadessa Eco Resort, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. When arranging flowers for Gadadessa Eco Resort, note its listed address, Gampola-Kadugannawa Road; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Aluthnuwara Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Kiriwawula Vidyalaya? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at Kolugala Kanishta Vidyalaya, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
When a funeral service is held at Kotabogoda Raaja Maha Viharaya, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Yatinuwara Pradeshiya Sabha, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
When the destination is in Levula, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Soldora 44, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
