Send your flower order for Basel-Stadt online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. The online payment is made in your own currency. Your order includes a card at no extra cost, carrying your message without edits. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as St. Jakobs-Denkmal are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The same-day ordering cutoff in Basel-Stadt is 15:00, local time. Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. Address details for Erlenmatt should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
If you are sending flowers to someone at Institut für Pathologie Universitätsspital Basel, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address. Ask whether flowers are accepted by the recipient’s ward at Adullam Spital und Pflegezentren, and address the order to the hospital itself.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to easyHotel, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. easyHotel has a listed address of Riehenring 109; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
If the service takes place at Elisabethenkirche, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Peterskirche, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Thomaskirche, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a recipient at Felix-Platter-Spital, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address.
For an address in Liebrüti, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
A tribute addressed to Wolf-Gottesacker should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
You can also browse dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses and balloons, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
A delivery for Wirtschaftsgymnasium und Wirtschaftsmittelschule Basel is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
Before sending flowers to SIBU - Schweizerische Fachstelle für Sehbehinderte im Beruflichen Umfeld, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
