Send your flower order for Alness online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. You can complete payment online using your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Fyrish Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. If the destination is in Saltburn, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
Check with Commercial Hotel before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. Before ordering for a guest at The Station Hotel, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Alness Academy, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for Bridgend Primary School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Coulhill Primary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
For a service at Rosskeen Free Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Alness Baptist Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at Capstone Centre, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Sending to Newhall Mains? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order.
For flowers addressed to someone at Alness Driving Test Centre, give the organisation and department and confirm that personal deliveries are accepted.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Lounge 23, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
