Same Day Delivery
A flower order for Braintree can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The online payment is made in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as Dorothy L Sayers Statue are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Fountain is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. Where the delivery address includes Meadow View, retain the locality when filling in the order.
A flower order for someone staying at Premier Inn should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. For flowers addressed to a guest at Travelodge, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. For a guest at Holiday Inn Express, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. The street address listed for Premier Inn is Braintree Bypass; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Notley High School and Braintree Sixth Form, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Before sending flowers to Alec Hunter Academy, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at Tabor Academy? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
If the service takes place at St Nicolas, Witham, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Al-Falah Braintree Islamic Centre are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Saint Peter ad Vincula, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient’s address is in King's Park, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
For a tribute intended for Bocking Cemetery, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Bill's, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
A flower order for a recipient at Braintree Community Hospital needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance.
Braintree Community Hospital has a listed address of Chadwick Drive; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
