You do not need to be in Buttermere to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Fanny Mercer Cross are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day flower delivery in Buttermere has an ordering deadline of 18:00, measured in local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. For a building with coded access, supply the entry code at checkout.
If you are sending to a guest of Bridge Hotel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. For a guest at The Buttermere Court Hotel, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
For a service at St James, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Buttermere Youth Hostel, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
