For a recipient in Creggan, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. The card is included in the order, and your message is printed exactly as written. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Local landmarks such as Annaghmare are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Irish Hunger Strikers is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The same-day ordering cutoff in Creggan is 18:00, local time. Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order.
Sending flowers to someone at Clonalig Primary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at St Brigid's Primary School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Creggan Freduff Presbyterian Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at St Brigid's Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a table booked at Garvey's, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
