Same Day Delivery
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Downpatrick. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. People locate the town by St Patrick's Statue in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Grave of Magnus Barefoot are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

To order flowers for same-day delivery in Downpatrick, use the destination’s 18:00 local cutoff. Complete the order with the destination’s street address, number, postcode and town, adding the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one.
Check with Denvirs before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking.
A delivery for Down High School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Blackwater Integrated College, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at Downpatrick Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
For a service at Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient is staying at Ballymote House, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
For flowers addressed to someone at Court House, give the organisation and department and confirm that personal deliveries are accepted.
If the delivery address is Down Funeral Directors, confirm the exact meeting point and arrangements with the venue before ordering a tribute.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
